About Able
Meet the Able Leadership Team
Able is a privately owned, ambitious and successful organisation. From its origins, in 1966, the Company is founded on the core commitments of providing a wholly reliable service, respecting the natural environment and being flexible in adapting to the ever changing business needs of our clients.
From being a leading and innovative specialist in complex demolition processes the Company has developed in to a major player across a number of sectors including offshore wind, demolition, decommissioning, site reclamation, property and ports development.
ABLE operates a number of strategic sites, predominantly across the North of England, undertaking full site reclamation and associated property development. Our landholding consists of a number of river frontage sites on the River Tees and two on the Humber Estuary where we provide ports and logistics services.
Over the years ABLE has been involved with many nationally significant projects and this is something about which we are very proud. Our enthusiasm to undertake ground-breaking projects is currently continued through the development of the Able Humber Port (AHP) and Able Energy Park (AEP) facilities on the South Bank of the Humber Estuary.
Our customers appreciate our strong values of hard work, common sense and discipline, particularly in relation to maintaining a proud health and safety record. This, combined with a true passion for innovation and excellent project management capabilities, allows us to maintain our social performance commitment of maximising environmental efficiencies to obtain full economic potential.
